Why now
The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (EU) 2025/40 has applied since 12 August 2026. Packaging now needs a declaration of conformity and technical documentation, and food-contact packaging must meet new PFAS limits. Design rules follow from 2028 and 2030.
