Why now
Türkiye’s Emissions Trading System Regulation was published in the Official Gazette on 27 August 2026 under Climate Law No. 7552. Installations above 50,000 tonnes of CO2 equivalent a year are covered, and annual verified emissions reports are due by 30 April.
